µPD64015A

The µPD64015A is a system LSI that realizes the main functions of a video decoder.
It has the following five main functions.


  1. 3D Y/C separation function that accurately separates the luminance signal and chrominance signal in NTSC/PAL signals to enhance image quality
  2. Video decoder function that can convert analog video signals into high-quality digital video signals
  3. 3D noise reduction function that detects and removes the noise component in analog video signals and eliminates image flicker, etc., and that supports NTSC, PAL and SECAM.
  4. Support analog signal output that can apply CRT-based television with analog signal processing.
  5. Integrated Signal Generator function that output video test signal that can be used for various examinations in production process

  • VBI data slice function, copy guard detection function
  • Control functions via I2C bus
