µPD64017

3-Dimensional Video Decoder LSI Supported HD Signal and W/W




Features

The µPD64017 is a system LSI that realizes the main functions of a decoder.
It has the following main functions.


  1. Analog HD signals such as of 720p/1080i can be input to this video decoder.
  2. One channel of 100MHz, 10-bit A/D converter, and three channels of 40MHz, 10-bit A/D converters.
    Composite, S, component (supporting 720p/1080i), and RGB video (supporting European SCART connector) signals can be input.
  3. 3D Y/C separation function that accurately separates the luminance signal and chrominance signal in NTSC/PAL signals to enhance image quality.
  4. 3D noise reduction function that detects and removes the noise component in analog video signals and eliminates image flicker, etc., and that supports NTSC, PAL and SECAM.
  5. On-chip VBI data slice function (VBID, Closed Caption, Teletext, Gemstar 1x/2x, etc.)
