Our semiconductor wafer foundry in Roseville (near Sacramento) in California continues to set the standard for
technology made in America. The facility achieves outstanding production yields and quality ratings among the
highest in the industry. The facility is registered ISO/TS 16949:2002, ISO 9001:2000, and ISO 14001:2004.
Continually expanded since its 1984 opening, the NEC Electronics facility in Roseville now comprises 709,000
square feet on 153 acres and offers a variety of quality and reliability features:
- Class 1 cleanroom
- 6- and 8-inch wafers
- Computer-integrated manufacturing system
- Real time inventory control
- Bar code ID system
- Online equipment connection to host computer control
- Unique product lot numbers, with each lot's process history stored in a secure database available for immediate retrieval
- Automated SPC tool, applied to all products to minimize manufacturing variability
